Who we are
Online Institute of Higher Education is a registered higher education provider offering accredited diplomas, fully online, to students across Australia.
Where we came from
OIHE was established by Online Education Services, an Australian organisation that designs, delivers and supports online programs in partnership with universities. OES has spent more than a decade working on one problem: why online students drop out, and what actually stops it happening.
The diplomas are new. The delivery model, the student support structure and the learning design behind them are not.
Founding date, scale of OES delivery, partner history and leadership biographies to be supplied. We won’t publish numbers about students supported or programs delivered without a source we can stand behind.
How we're regulated
Every organisation offering higher education qualifications in Australia has to be registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency, and every course has to be accredited. This is what separates an accredited diploma from a certificate someone sells online.

OIHE is a non-university higher education provider. We don’t call ourselves a university, because under Australian law we aren’t one.
Who makes the academic decisions
Academic decisions at OIHE sit with an academic board that operates independently of the commercial side of the business. It approves course content, monitors academic standards and reviews student outcomes.
Talk to someone who knows the course
Enquiries go to a real person on our admissions team, not a queue. Tell us what you’re considering and we’ll come back to you within one business day with a straight answer, including when the course isn’t the right fit.
